S.E.B.A.I.

Smart Eye Based on Artificial Intelligence (S.E.B.A.I.), is an IoT based smart standalone device, having different modules/ functions to target various problems faced by the dumb, deaf and the blinds while communicating with the mainstream society.

As a primary function, it will sense the surroundings using various sensors including camera sensor, IR thermal sensor etc., and the collected data will be sent to the main server (local or cloud or smartphones) for the processing. Through various ML and DL algorithms, the data will be analyzed and get converted into speech, which will be then given to the blind person as output using earphones to provide real-time happenings of the surroundings including object identification, contactless object temperature detection, face recognition and identification, the distance of obstacles from them, with various safety and security steps etc. Also, by using the logic of hand gesture recognition and face recognition, the basic sign language used by the dumb will be converted into an understandable form. Based on this output, the user of the device will receive translated hand gestures in the form of voice (e.g. for a blind and normal person) or display (e.g. for the deaf), thus reducing the difficulty of understanding sign language directly. Further, object identification and recognizing someone will become easier for a blind person.
