A SAC is a formal warning issued when a member does not complete their required hours, requirements, or responsibilities.
Maximum Allowance:
Members may receive up to 3 SAC
Making Up a Sac:
For each SAC received, members must complete an additional of 2 hours of volunteer service to remove it from their record.
Dismissal Policy:
If a member receives 3 SACs, they will be dismissed from the NAHS organization and lose all membership priviledges (including cords and honors).
Reasons a Member May Receive a SAC:
Incomplete Volunteer Hours: Failing to complete the required 10 volunteer hours per semester.
Attendance: Missing mandatory meetings without prior approval.
Academic Requirement: Maintaining a grade average below 85 in any term.
Competition Requirement: Not completing the required art competition entries.
All SACs will be recorded in the NAHS Points Excel Sheet under the Points/Hours Page, where members can view and track their standing throughout the semester.
