The Creat'R Lab Makerspace (Orbach Library, Room 140) at the University of California, Riverside is a dedicated maker space open to the students, faculty, staff, and alumni of UCR. Our lab offers a wide range of resources and equipment including 3D printers, a laser engraver, Cricut machines, sewing and embroidery machines, as well as button makers. We provide an inclusive environment where individuals can work on their projects and bring their creative ideas to life.
Educational/academic 3D prints are free. Non-academic 3D prints will be charged at a rate of $0.06 per gram if a print is more than 60 grams. These charges enable us to maintain and improve our resources, ensuring a high-quality experience for all users.
The Lab is a digital makerspace that offers teens a variety of tools for learning, creating, and developing their own media. The Lab's high-performance desktop computers are loaded with a variety of creative software. We also have accompanying hardware and maker-kits for teens to explore and create hands-on.
