Olympic Day

Dear Parents/Guardians,

On Friday, June 7th, 2024, we will have our annual Olympic Day at Richard P Connor Elementary School. Parents and guardians are invited to attend Olympic Day and take part in a cookout. Olympic Day Event Schedule:

8:50am-9am: Opening Ceremonies & Parade

9am-10:45am: Events: K, 1, 2

11am-11:45am- BBQ Lunch: Grades K-2

12pm-12:45pm: BBQ Lunch: Grades 3-5

1pm- 2:45pm: Events: 3. 4. 5

Lunch will be picnic style inside or outside. Parents are welcome to join their child(ren) for lunch. Parents who are planning to join their child for lunch should enter through the main entrance. Please follow the lunch schedule. The cookout/lunch menu will be choice of grilled hamburger or hot dog on a bun and fresh-cut watermelon. There will be no charge for lunch. The cookout is being sponsored by The Village of Suffern and the Suffern Police Department. Students will need to bring their own drinks. Students can bring their own lunch.

In order for us to plan for the cookout, we ask you to fill out this form no later than Friday, May 31st, 2024

El viernes 7 de junio de 2024 tendremos nuestro Día Olímpico anual en la escuela primaria Richard P Connor. Los padres y tutores están invitados a asistir al Día Olímpico y participar en una comida al aire libre. Calendario de eventos del Día Olímpico:

8:50 am-9 am: Ceremonias de apertura y desfile

9 am-10:45 am: Eventos: K, 1, 2

11 am-11:45 am- Almuerzo BBQ: Grados K-2

12:00 p. m. a 12:45 p. m.: Almuerzo BBQ: Grados 3-5

13:00- 14:45: Eventos: 3. 4. 5

El almuerzo será estilo picnic dentro o fuera. Los padres pueden unirse a sus hijos para el almuerzo. Los padres que planeen acompañar a sus hijos a almorzar deben ingresar por la entrada principal. Siga el horario del almuerzo. El menú de comida al aire libre/almuerzo podrá elegir entre hamburguesa a la parrilla o hot dog en pan y sandía recién cortada. No habrá ningún cargo por el almuerzo. La comida al aire libre está patrocinada por The Village of Suffern y el Departamento de Policía de Suffern. Los estudiantes deberán traer sus propias bebidas. Los estudiantes pueden traer su propio almuerzo.

Para que podamos planificar la comida al aire libre, le pedimos que complete este formulario a más tardar el viernes 31 de mayo de 2024.
