Hello! My name is Julia but my stage and pen name is Royal Jules. I'm from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I'm half Brazillian and fluent in Portoguese. I've been writing since I was six years old. I only got into poetry four years ago and have been competeing in slams and writing spoken word for the past two years. Poetry is one of my biggest passions, if not the biggest. I'm in love with words. I am an English major with a focus in creative writing at Florida State University with aspirations of becoming a screenwriter. Besides writing, I enjoy going to concerts, traveling, and going out with friends. I love to see other people's art and love to share my own. I created this site to share my work off stage and continue to grow as an artist. I can't wait to keep sharing!
