Great relationships are built on trust and open communication. I believe that our relational well-being is the cornerstone of deeper connections and effective communication with others. With over 16 years of experience, I've dedicated my career to helping individuals, couples, and families have the opportunity to gain self-awareness, conquer trauma, and enhance relationships across all aspects of life
My counseling areas of focus include: anxiety, depression, trauma, recent traumatic experiences, boundaries, communication, relational issues, and life transitions. I hold a Christian worldview and can integrate biblical principles as requested. My desire is to meet my clients where they are at, thus I do not impose my values into clients with differing worldviews.
I employ a range of techniques to tailor my sessions for each unique situation. I have extensive training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Attachment-Focused EMDR, which is supported by extensive research and has yielded remarkable results in trauma treatment. When working with couples I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and The Gottman Method, recognized as two of the most effective forms of couples counseling which underscores my commitment to marital success. Additionally, I integrate approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy to provide a comprehensive therapeutic experience. I am currently accepting clients who are 18 years and older for individual and couples counseling.
