Technology For Teaching
Our students live in a time where technology is dominant and is a tool that can be extremely beneficial. My goal as a teacher is to guide my students on navigating on line in a way that is safe, engaging and beneficial to my student's development and academic achievement. So often many students need a different way to learn and by having some time during school to learn and access new information through technology gives them multiple means of representation such as videos and interactive website where the students are learning about the content but in a much more engaging way. Using technology not only helps to address all of my student's different learning styles but it also gives me a way to help them develop their needed technological skills of how to type and access online in a way that will help develop into responsible "digital citizens." My hope is to help students understand the benefits of technology and be able to make learning more engaging and fun through different modes of input.
