What is NDECC® Exam?
NDECC, which stands for the National Dental Examination of Clinical Competence, represents the final phase among the three NDEB equivalency examinations. Spanning across two days, this examination comprises two distinct segments:
- Clinical Skills:
- Crown preparation
- Amalgam preparation for Class 2 cases
- Amalgam restoration for Class 2 cases
- Composite restoration for Class 2 cases
- Composite restoration for Class 4 cases
- Provisional crown restoration
- Preparation for endodontic access
- Situational Judgment:
This component evaluates candidates through ten situational judgment scenarios that assess their proficiency in Patient-Centered Care, Professionalism, Communication and Collaboration, Practice and Information Management, and Health Promotion.

What does this course cover?
You will have unrestricted access to our facility for a full 8 hours every day within your designated session, available 6 days a week.
Included in the course is a comprehensive Clinical Skills procedures manual. This manual presents a detailed, step-by-step guide to completing the projects required by the NDEB NDECC® Examination.
Every participating dentist will receive an Exercise Booklet containing 16 mock exam exercises. These exercises are designed to be completed over the course's duration, enhancing your practice and preparation.
Our teaching approach is highly personalized, catering to all levels of experience and skill proficiency.
Our team of instructors, with extensive experience, has successfully trained numerous dentists to excel in both the ACS and NDECC® Clinical Skills exams.
Expect tailored feedback directly from our course directors, providing clear insights into areas of improvement.
You'll have the opportunity to practice on A-dec® simulators, gaining invaluable hands-on experience.
