Routine Beep is an offline Android app for planning a daily routine and sounding a reminder when a task ends. The app does not require an account and has no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs. It does not send your routine to the developer.
Data on your phone
The app stores task names, start and end times, alarm settings and today's completion marks in its private storage on your phone. Android handles the scheduled alarms and notifications. Routine Beep does not request microphone, camera, location, contacts or media-library access.
Alarms and notifications
The app asks for notification permission and access to schedule precise alarms so that it can remind you when a task ends. A short foreground service plays the reminder on the phone's alarm audio stream and provides a Stop action. These functions do not record audio or send information off the device.
Backups you choose
Save backup creates a JSON file only when you choose a destination in Android's file picker. The file contains task names, times and alarm settings, but not today's completion marks. The backup is plain text, so choose a private destination. If you select a cloud document provider, that provider handles the file under its own terms and privacy policy. Routine Beep does not upload the backup itself.
Restore reads only the file you select. It checks the backup and asks for confirmation before replacing your saved routine. Automatic Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup are disabled for this app.
Deleting data
You can edit or delete individual tasks in the app. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it removes its private settings and routine. Exported backup files are separate; delete those files from their chosen folder or document provider if you no longer want them.
Other services
Android, Google Play and any document provider you choose may process information under their own privacy policies. This policy describes Routine Beep's app functions, not those services.

Changes
If the app's data handling changes, this page will be updated. The date above identifies this version of the policy.
