Route to Rise equips Early Valuable Professionals (EVPs)—early career talent without four-year degrees—with the tools to lead, adapt, and thrive in the workplace. Through lived-experience training, leadership development, and strategic consulting, we help both EVPs and the organizations that hire them succeed in the shift toward skills-based hiring.
Our flagship programs are outcomes-driven and tailored to meet the needs of our community:
Starting Right: Essentials for Success is a 3-day immersive workshop introducing EVPs to five foundational principles—Stewardship, Trust, Advocacy, Responsibility, and Teamwork. After a successful rollout in 2024, Georgia State University (GSU) is hosting their second Starting Right session in Summer 2025 to prepare their students for post-graduation career readiness.
Change Impact Awareness trains EVPs to identify and respond to change-driven language in meetings, equipping them to contribute meaningfully to discussions and decision-making. This fosters analytical thinking and elevates their voice at the table.
Fortified and Future-Ready develops mental resilience and adaptability, helping participants overcome self-doubt and build the mindset needed to succeed in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
Alumni Advantage is a consulting service that supports corporations and workforce organizations in retaining and engaging apprenticeship alumni through advisory councils, alumni networks, and local upskilling opportunities.
In the last 12 months, we’ve served over 200 EVPs, delivered 300 hours of training and coaching, and received feedback showing that:
92% of participants reported increased workplace confidence
85% reported improved ability to navigate change and feedback
75% connected with mentors or career resources through our programs
In 2025, we’re launching Start To, a Learning Management System (LMS) that enables workforce programs to track on-the-job training (OJT) progress, enhance apprentice-manager communication, and streamline reporting. It’s designed by an apprentice alum—for apprentices and their leaders.
In addition to direct training, Route to Rise also offers:
Consulting on workforce strategy and EVP retention
Custom training and curriculum design aligned with Gen Z learning styles
Career coaching, content marketing, partnership management, and funding research to build sustainable, equitable talent ecosystems
Route to Rise isn’t just a service provider; we’re building the infrastructure for a future-ready, experience-valued workforce.
As a former corporate apprentice turned workforce strategist, I design and implement registered apprenticeship programs that align with today’s federal initiatives for skills-based hiring and workforce development.
My journey—from apprentice to Apprenticeship Experience Lead at Accenture—equips me with unique insights into building sustainable, scalable talent pipelines. In my role, I led cross-functional learning experiences for over 200 Early Valuable Professionals (EVPs), directly impacting program structure, staffing outcomes, and skills acquisition in high-demand sectors.
In 2024 alone, I trained over 200 EVPs in critical corporate skills including analytical thinking, storytelling, and adaptive communication, ensuring they were equipped to excel in skills-first hiring environments. My hands-on approach empowers organizations to adopt alternative credential pathways and build resilient, future-ready workforces.
Fueled by lived experience and a passion for transformation, I help businesses and educational partners create public-private partnerships that expand opportunities and drive measurable results in the apprenticeship ecosystem.
