At RouteLock, developed by Dinam Kemaloglu, we take your privacy with absolute seriousness. This Privacy Policy outlines our commitment to your data security.
RouteLock is designed as a "Zero-Knowledge" application.
No Personal Data: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal identification information (PII) such as your name, email address, or phone number.
No File Access: The files (photos, videos, documents) you hide within the vault are encrypted locally on your device. We do not have access to your files or your encryption keys.
No Tracking: There are no third-party trackers, analytics, or background reporting tools integrated into the app.
Local Storage Only: All data remains exclusively on your physical device. RouteLock does not use cloud storage or external servers.
Military-Grade Encryption: Your data is protected using AES-256 encryption and PBKDF2 password hashing. Since this encryption happens locally, if you lose your Master PIN or delete the app without a backup, we cannot recover your data.
RouteLock may request the following permissions to function:
Storage/Media Access: Required to import files into the secure vault and export them back.
Biometrics (Fingerprint/Face ID): Used only for local authentication to unlock the app.
Camera: Used solely for the built-in QR Code Scanner and taking photos directly into the vault.
Network: The "Private Browser" feature requires internet access, but no browsing history or cache is stored or transmitted to us.
RouteLock includes an "Erase PIN" and "Panic Button" feature. When triggered by the user, these features perform a permanent deletion of the local database. This action is irreversible.
Our app does not collect any data from children. Since no data is collected at all, RouteLock is safe for all age groups in terms of data privacy.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Since we do not collect user information, we cannot notify you individually. Please check the app’s store page or this URL for updates.
