STAR Events

What are STAR Events?

• (Students Taking Action with Recognition): competitive events that take place all over Texas and the US. Members are recognized for their achievement in their chapter and individual projects, leadership skills, and the career preparation that was demonstrated. Categories competed in are either individual or partner/groups.

Regionals

• Competing within your region (we are region 5). The top 6 teams in your category will advance to state. Regionals will be held in Corpus Christi.

State

• Competing with all of Texas- all 5 regions. The top 2 teams in your category will advance to Nationals. State will be held in Dallas.

Nationals

• Competing against yourself, but you're with members from all across America. You will receive a bronze, silver, or a gold metal. Nationals have been held in Washington DC, San Diego, Nashville, Anaheim, Atlanta, and many other amazing places!
