Choreographed (or Cued) ballroom dancing is dancing to pre-choreographed routines where a cuer announces to the dancers what figures come next just before the figures are to be executed; and dancers then execute those figures in unison.

Choreographed Ballroom has less need to master the concepts of leading and following and frees dancers from memorized sequences and the leading and following concept, and the dancers can focus on the steps and the rhythm making this a great way to learn how to dance.

Choreographed Ballroom has a relaxed, fun atmosphere.  There are no performances, no competitions, and no trophy cases.  Just people dancing for fun.  It’s light-hearted.  It’s relaxed, it’s playful.

Choreographed ballroom dancing has many health benefits including, but not limited to, ease of body movement, memory recall, and muscle tone; but most of all, choreographed ballroom dancing is all about making new friends.
