Teresa is in her third year at Carleton University studying International Business with a minor in German. She is originally from Burlington, ON, which is where she first became involved with Interact. Teresa joined Rotaract Ottawa South in her first year after recognizing the group at Clubs Expo, and was Treasurer for the club in her second year. As president, she’s excited to see what the year has in store for the Rotaract Club of Ottawa South!
Karenna is a third year student studying Global and International Studies with a specialization in Anthropology. She first got involved with Rotary after going on Rotary Youth Exchange in 2018/2019. She joined Rotaract to give back to the community both internationally and locally. Karenna is excited to be the Vice-President and Community Chair for the upcoming year and is looking forward to connecting with other organizations to help support the community at Carleton and around Ottawa.
Ashwathi is in her 3rd year of biotechnology and biology. She is from India but grew up in Africa. Her journey with Rotary started from her high school interact club. She is inspired by the idea of serving the community and became membership chair in her second year and is currently the International chair. She looks forward to having an exciting and fun year with many international relations.
Julia is in her final year at Carleton and is studying Global and International Studies, with a specialization in Global Inequalities and Social Change, and a minor in History. Originally from Montreal, Julia wanted to make the most of her undergraduate degree by getting involved in different clubs. Julia heard about the Rotaract Club of Ottawa South through a new friend in her first year and knew she wanted to get involved. Julia was VP Communications in her second year and this is her second year as Secretary. Julia is excited to see what all the group accomplishes this year!
Reagan is in her second year at Carleton University studying Criminology and Criminal Justice with a concentration in Psychology. In her free time, Reagan loves to play video games and watch anime! Reagan also loves to make new friends and contribute to her community. She figured joining the Rotaract Club of Ottawa South was the best way to do both!
Gabrielle is a third year Bachelor of Social Work student with a double minor in Criminology and Criminal Justice and American Sign Language at Carleton University. She is originally from Cornwall, ON, which is where she was involved with local and international communities through volunteering positions and missionary trips to the Dominican Republic. Gabrielle joined Rotaract Ottawa South after recognizing the group at Clubs Expo and is now VP of Communications. She is excited to engage with you and make this year a memorable one.
Molly is a recent graduate from Carleton University, having earned her Bachelor of Global and International Studies with a specialization in Global Politics. She's been part of RCOS since 2017 and has served as both President and Vice President. Taking a gap year of sorts, Molly's spending most of her time revisiting her lifelong love of creative writing and daydreaming about her future dog.
