Real Christmas trees are perfect for the season, until the season is over and you have to work out how to get rid of them safely, cheaply, and without too much fuss. This year, why not just drag it to the curb and let your local Scout Troop, Troop 1717, take care of it for you with just a $20 donation per tree. Leave it out the night of Jan 2nd, 2026 and we'll do the rest.  All proceeds go towards supporting the Troop's 2026 outdoor program where community youth learn valuable outdoor and leadership skills.
