After high school, I plan to go to college and then join the Navy. My dad is in the Navy and is my inspiration for joining. My dad was a Navy pilot for many years. I plan to follow in his footsteps and become a pilot. I decided around the 8th grade, when I rode a fighter jet flight simulator. I knew instantly that this is what I wanted to do.Â
I have taken numerous classes to prepare myself for college and the military, including multiple AP classes. Specifically, math will help me in whatever part of the military I end up in. This engineering class has helped prepare me for whatever comes next, as I will have learned the many engineering concepts and standards.
In our high school, I play football. Football teaches many important life lessons, such as toughness, discipline, being goal-oriented, and many others. Football has also helped me physically prepare, keeping me in shape, healthy, and active. I currently work at my neighborhood's pool as a lifeguard. This has taught me that focus is extremely important. If you lose focus while lifeguarding, someone could be injured or die.
After achieving my goal to become a working member of our armed forces, I hope that with the money I make, I can give back to my community and those in need. I hope to serve our country to keep our country safe and make the world a safer and better place.
