The Band Boosters are always looking for adults in our band community to help out in a variety of ways including volunteering, heading up a committee, running for an office, donating, organizing, preparing, sewing, building, and SO MUCH MORE! If you are willing to help out this amazing band group in ANY way - no amount of help is too big or too small - please contact one of the board member or Mr. Kelley. Our contact information can be found on the home page of this website or you can email the boosters at: rossfordbandboosters419@gmail.com
We would LOVE to meet some new faces and would gladly welcome and appreciate any help! The band kids are truly an amazing group and it takes a whole community to give them the many opportunities to shine and be successful!
Julie Carpenter and Kassie DeStazio
During the school year, our food committee headed up this year by Kristie Herman and Julie Carpenter, make sure that our students don't go out to a performance hungry. There are many times that students don't have enough time between school and performance time to get home and eat, so our band parents work hard either through serving, preparing, donating, cleaning up, and more to make sure that the kids have food. Our band community is THE BEST!!!
Carrie Madden and Amy Lesick
Fundraising is an ongoing process to make sure that the band has the money they need to support the kids. The boosters use money from fundraisers to maintain band equipment, purchase new band equipment, for props, for scholarship opportunities, for music and drill costs, for uniform replacement and maintenance, and MUCH MUCH MORE! The fundraising committee is always looking for more help and ideas to ensure a successful year.
Equipment Managers - Chris Kelsey and Brittany Gurtzweiler
The equipment and props committee makes sure that all instruments, equipment, podiums, props and more are loaded and secured into the truck before, during, and after each performance. This same committee also spends time creating and building the props that students use during competitions and shows.
Jen Duwve and Trisha Dutcher
Our uniform committee starts in July during the week of band camp to make sure that all students are fitted with a uniform. Sounds easy, but there are actually quite a few steps to make sure that each student is wearing the uniform correctly and is ready for performance time!
