Summary and Sugestions

Purposes of practicum

This practicum provide me with teaching experience within a classroom setting, develop my teaching skill especially teaching in diversity,and it provide me with an opportunity to learn by teaching and observing in the classroom, applying theory to practice, and reflecting on teaching skills.

Outcomes

Teaching practicum is the most important part of teacher education programs in terms of pre-service teachers’ ongoing professional development. it improve my teaching skill, improved my management class skill,and increase skill in teaching diversity. It provides opportunities for me as a pre-service teachers to internalize the theories learned in the campus courses into their own knowledge by practicing the theories in classroom teaching under the guidance and support of my mentors. 

Challenges

one of my challenges in teaching practice is language differences, teaching early childhood sometimes requires a lot of effort, sometimes children ask me about something but I don't understand because the language barrier is very strong, I am very lucky to have thai friend who are doing internships too so it is very helps me to understand what children want. but the reason this language is not a burden for me is because my students really love me and understand my instructions with body language.

INCREADIBLE 

This word is very appropriate to represent my overall impression about this program because this experience was truly amazing. meeting lots of good people who love me very sincerely makes me feel very appreciated in Thailand. and meeting adorable students who really love me is an extraordinary thing on this jorney. Becoming an early childhood teacher is my dream and thanks to this program it really helped me to know many new things about education and teaching.

Suggestions

I highly recommend my friends to join the Seateacher program because this is where valuable experience is created. The experience of teaching abroad opens up new insights for all of us about educational field and teaching practice. I hope you all can be as lucky as we are in the Seatecher program!
