Professionally, I am working as a project geophysicist at Terracon Consultants, Inc. My academic home is the University of Memphis' Center for Earthquake Research and Information (CERI), where I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree. I am working with Dr. Chris Cramer, and my current research focuses on seismic and liquifaction hazards.
My research has the overarching objective of contributing to a better understanding of a seismically active zone and the associated seismic hazards and losses, as well as using this knowledge to build earthquake-resilient communities by actively communicating with researchers, engineers, planners, and the general public.
Aside from school, my favorite things to do are spend time with my family, travel (to discover new places), and go hiking whenever I can.
