About Me

Hello! I’m Emily, the owner of Roses & Wreaths and a very passionate trained and insured florist! I create all of my floral designs from my cosy home studio in Rochester, Kent

I’m lucky enough to have two furry four-legged assistants, Goose and Maverick, who make up my “Barketing Team”. They keep the studio full of personality and you will definitely see them make appearances in some of our social media content! Whether they are rolling around in leaves and petals, attempting to play with the ribbons or giving each flower a good sniff, I love having them in the studio!

One of my favourite parts of this job which is quite possibly an unpopular opinion - The 4am flower market trips. There’s something truly magical about those quiet early hours, driving through calm streets while the world is still snoozing to the hustle and bustle of the market! Especially in the summer months when I get to watch the sunrise. Also, the flower market has this very particular fresh smell which is just the epitome of floristry and I wish I could just bottle it up! 

My work is completely unique and deeply personal to the individual. I work closely with all of my customers to understand their vision, their story, and the meaning behind their flowers, ensuring their florals are everything they hoped for — and more. 

I specialise in weddings, events, and funeral floristry, but my love for general floristry and wreath making will always have a special place in my heart—that’s where the story of Roses & Wreaths began. Whether it’s an intimate bouquet or large-scale event flowers, I pour care, creativity, and meaning into every design.
