Experience the Power of Deaf Arts
RootsPulse Fest proudly presents two evenings of live Deaf performance, celebrating the creativity, diversity, and artistry of Indigenous, Black, Brown, and Asian (IBBA) Deaf artists.
Over four days, Deaf artist mentors and mentees will come together through the RootsPulse Mentorship Program to create, explore, exchange ideas, and develop their artistic practice. The festival will culminate in two public performance evenings featuring our mentors, mentees, and guest artists.
Audiences will experience a vibrant mix of ASL storytelling, Visual Vernacular (VV), theatre, dance, and performance art, showcasing a wide range of Deaf artistic expression, culture, and creativity.
Friday and Saturday feature different programs.
Come for one night or experience both!
Each evening will feature original performances and creative work by Deaf artists from Canada and around the world.
