Welcome to Roots & Branches!

The arts are a growing scene in the rural areas of South Central Pennsylvania. However, it feels like outside of the local universities, writing and performing fall to the wayside in our small, farming communities. Roots and Branches is working to create a space for locals to share their writing in hopes of generating a community of artists outside of the cities or academic spaces. 

While we focus on supporting local writers, we are happy to have made the recent expansion to now seek new members and submissions from all Appalachian writers in the small communities across the East Coast. Contact us today to see how you might fit into our growing group!
