Every plant dries at its own pace. RootInterval helps you keep soil-check and watering observations together and adjust check intervals as you learn those patterns. Your care history belongs on your device. This policy explains how the app handles information.
No account needed
RootInterval requires no registration, login, or personal profile. You can use the app without providing your name, email address, or other identity details.
What happens to your plant records
Plant entries, soil observations, watering history, check intervals, and preferences you save are stored locally on your device. These records support the app’s care-history and interval features. The developer does not receive or remotely access them and does not maintain a cloud account or server containing your plant records.
No data collection or third-party services
RootInterval does not collect personal information, usage statistics, device identifiers, or location data. It has no integrated third-party services, advertising networks, analytics tools, or tracking technologies. Your app information is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
Keeping and removing local history
Saved information remains on your device until you remove it through available app controls or delete the app. Offloading the app may preserve its data. If app information is included in device backups, any copies follow your Apple backup settings. You manage those copies through your device and backup settings; the developer cannot access or erase them.
