What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring your document, a current unexpired government-issued photo ID, and any witnesses required by your document.
Should I sign my document before the appointment?
Bring your document completed but unsigned unless your document instructions tell you otherwise. I will let you know what is needed at the appointment.
Do all signers need to be present?
Yes. Everyone whose signature needs to be notarized must be present with valid photo ID.
Can you travel to me?
Yes. Rooted Notary Services provides mobile appointments at homes, workplaces, hospitals, nursing homes, and other agreed-upon locations throughout Central Arkansas.
Can you notarize documents at a hospital or nursing home?
Yes, as long as the signer is present, willing to sign, aware of what they are signing, and able to communicate.
Can you help me fill out my document or explain what it means?
No. I cannot provide legal advice or tell you how to complete your document. For questions about the document itself, contact an attorney or the organization that gave it to you.
Do you provide witnesses?
No. Please bring any witnesses required by your document.
Do you offer after-hours or same-day appointments?
Yes, when availability allows.
How much does it cost?
Notary and travel fees are confirmed before your appointment is scheduled.
Do you provide remote online notarization?
No. Rooted Notary Services provides in-person mobile notary services only.
