February 14, 2026 - Upper Cibolo Creek, Boerne TX
Rooted in the Guadalupe is a community-based restoration effort designed to bring people together to help restore and build resilient riverbanks along the Guadalupe River.
Our first project is a large-scale tree replanting project using native live tree-stakes in Kerrville, Tx. These trees will act as the foundation for riparian nursery habitat crucial for future plant success and establishment, erosion control, natural diversity, and scenic recreation for all.
Work is coordinated in partnership with the Hill Country Alliance (HCA), Texas A&M Forest Service (TAMFS), Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD), the City of Kerrville, and Kerr Together River Working Group.
