Olexora ("we," "our," or "us") built Root & Reason as a mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our app.

Information We Collect

Data Stored on Your Device

Root & Reason stores your learning progress, bookmarks, preferences, and settings locally on your device using on-device storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Purchase Information

If you subscribe to Root & Reason Premium, your purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase receipt to verify your subscription. We do not receive or store your payment details, credit card number, or Apple ID. Notifications

If you enable daily reminders, notification scheduling is handled entirely on your device. We do not use push notification tokens for tracking or marketing.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not require account creation, login, or registration.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personal identifiers.

We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.

We do not collect location data.

We do not access your contacts, camera, photos, or microphone.

Our app uses the following third-party services:

Children's Privacy

Root & Reason does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since we do not collect personal data from any user, the app is safe for users of all ages.

Data Retention and Deletion

All app data is stored locally on your device. You can delete this data at any time by uninstalling the app. Subscription status is managed by Apple and can be managed in your device's Settings > Subscriptions.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the app or on this page. Changes are effective immediately upon posting.
