Working with film/animation

Above are three Jazz pieces I composed for a short 27 minute film called Cinema Too. The music was used as film credits inside a Cinema where the majority of the film takes place. (2022/2023)

For this five minute action detective comedy I did the film mix, as well as all the sound design. I completed this in April 2023.

This piece is from the soundtrack I recently composed for a short detective comedy film, The Wrong Woman. The style is smooth, smoky Jazz and was composed to be the background music for a bar scene. (2021)

This track I composed was designed to accompany the credits to the short film, The Wrong Woman. The piece is meant to be quirky, light hearted and slightly comical, whilst maintaining a Jazz vibe. (2021)

This was a sound replacement project where all of the sounds and soundtrack to the A Quiet Place 2 trailer were replaced. The majority of the sounds were provided as this project was more of a sound editing exercise, however there were some sounds I created from scratch and I composed my own soundtrack. (2020)

This was a film project where I created the soundtrack for a Pukka Tea Ad commercial. The style of music required was ambient, calm and uplifting.

This is an Environmental Awareness video which is designed to give the viewer a sense of optimism that nature and society can have a balanced coexistence. The music is designed to be uplifting and positive, giving the message that we can still make a difference.

The music was created in collaboration with a musical artist named Stranger. I composed the basic structure of the piece and Stranger then filled out areas with some wonderful ambience and sounds to enhance it. A special thanks to Beasto for putting together this fantasic video to our music! (2020)

This was a sound replacement project where we sourced a video clip and stripped it of all its sound and replaced it with our own. This was a group project which I collaborated on with two of my peers. The project involved recreating all the Foley and SFX as well as the soundtrack. I composed just over the first half of the soundtrack and assisted in creating the Foley/SFX for the animation.

The original clip is from the Night Howling Scene from the Disney film Zootopia. (2020)

This project is designed to be relaxing and peaceful for those who suffer from depression and anxiety. Research was done into frequencies, such as Solfeggio frequencies, which naturally calm and relax the mind. Using this information the music was produced using some of these frequency ranges to help produce relaxing, peaceful vibes. This was done in collaboration with one of my audio peers Matt Pascoe. I came up with the overall structure of the piece, which we then both collaborated on filling out areas. Credit to the animation goes to Sarah-Jane Broomhall. (2020)

For this project I was required to replace all of the sound to part of the Disney Pixar Cars trailer. All Foley/SFX were recreated by me as well as the soundtrack.

All credit and copyright goes to Disney. (2017)
