Mrs. Chicklowski has been Roosevelt Elementary Roughrider for 23 years. She received her Music Education Degree from Florida State University and University of South Florida. Mrs. Chick, as she affectionately known amongst her students, inspires her students to be creative and work hard. 

Mrs. Chicklowski serves as the President-Elect for the Florida Elementary Music Educators Association and is an accomplished conductor and clinician. She is also the proud recipient of the 2000, 2013, and 2014 Teacher of the Year at her school and for the district. She is honored to be a finalist for 2023 & 2024Grammy Music Educator of the Year.  Mrs. Chicklowski has recently been awarded as the Florida Elementary Music Educator of the Year.

As an active member of the theatre and dance community, Mrs. Chick has formed a theatre troupe on our Roosevelt campus. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and little dog, Bruno.

Ms. VanAllen is new to Roosevelt Elementary for the 2024 Fall semester. She is completing her bachelor's in music education through Florida State University with a focus on choral conducting. 

Ms. VanAllen is a lifelong participant in the performing arts with experience in dance, music, and theatre.
