To delete your Roomify account, email roomifyhostels@gmail.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and include the email or phone number associated with your account.
Once your request is processed, we will delete:
- Your profile information (name, phone number, email)
- Your property listings (if you are a landlord)
- Your search history and saved properties (if you are a renter)
- Messages and inquiries sent through the platform
Some information is retained for legal/compliance purposes:
- Verification documents: 5 years
- Financial records: 7 years
- Communication records: 3 years
Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
