Room Corners

Room Corners is the music project of Liam Mischke. Based in Baltimore, Maryland, he has been independently recording and releasing music since 2020. Since 2021, Room Corners has performed with a full band currently consisting of Liam Mischke on vocals and rhythm guitar, Matt Shaneybrook on lead guitar, Noah Peterson on bass guitar, Francesco Leandri on synthesizer, and Oliver Foley on drums.

Blending a variety of genres, Room Corners' music features the heavily distorted, droning guitars of shoegaze, folk-inspired acoustic instrumentation and songwriting, and electronic and ambient elements, all of which contribute to their distinctive and evocative sound.

In November 2026, Room Corners will release their second full-length album, Mourning Star. The album is the first Room Corners release to feature the full band, with previous releases being written, recorded, performed, and mixed entirely by Liam Mischke. Developed collaboratively from 2023 to 2026, Mourning Star reflects the collective creativity, dedication, and growth of the band. As the product of three years of shared effort, it represents the most complete and authentic realization of Room Corners to date.

Room Corners has performed since 2021 at various well known DMV venues such as Ottobar, Metro Gallery, and The Undercroft in Baltimore, MD and Rhizome in DC. They have also performed at University of Maryland College Park for a live radio session.

 Room Corners has played with other local Baltimore and DC bands such as Combat, Virtua dx, Muscle, Powerwasher, and Bubbler. They have also played with various touring bands, such as Melaina Kol (TN), Rig B (TN), Rugh (FL), Precious Little Life (PA), and Penny Loafer (GA).
