🔥Geared towards adult learners and independent kids, this is a free club with equipment provided

♟️No rating or sign-up required -- just bring kindness, curiosity, and a willingness to play

🗓️We meet the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

🕰️60-90 minutes of over-the-board rapid play
🕰️30-60 minutes of blitz, bughouse, or some type of chess variant play

🏁You will be initially paired based on your skill level, and then players are encouraged to move around and play against others as the evening continues
🗣️This is a casual, non-rated club, so connection will be encouraged through casual conversation
🎵Music will be playing throughout the evening

💲Membership Fees - NONE. We are a volunteer-run group, and hope to maintain this club as a free environment to connect over chess
♟️Equipment - boards & pieces will be provided by the club. We may ask that members download a free chess clock app on their phone to use for time controls (link available on the Resources page)
🌎Location - West Ridge Community Church (Lake Street & Nesler Road) has graciously offered to host our group. Use the east doors, and we meet in the Foundation Room on the second floor -- just follow the music 🎵
