3. Payments & Transaction Fees

• Payment Processing: All rent payments made through the Application are processed securely via encrypted third-party payment gateways. We do not store or process raw credit card or bank account details.

• Gateway Failures & Delays: RoofTop-app is a facilitator and is not liable for banking network delays, external gateway failures, or payment processing errors.

• Disputes: Any disputes regarding rent amounts, security deposits, or payment timelines must be resolved directly between the Landlord and the Tenant.

4. Digital Agreements & Content

• Informational Templates: Any digital lease agreement summaries or skeletons provided in the app are for convenience and informational purposes only. They do not constitute formal legal counsel.

• Owner’s Archive: Landlords may archive tenant history. This data is retained for record-keeping purposes in compliance with our Privacy Policy.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post fraudulent property listings or false personal information.

• Use the app for money laundering or unauthorized financial transactions.

• Attempt to breach, decompile, or bypass any security features of the Application.

6. Limitation of Liability

• Active Data: Kept as long as your account remains active.

• Owner's Archive: When a tenant leaves a property, their historical records remain in the Landlord's archive for record-keeping and tax transparency.

• Account Deletion: Users can request permanent deletion of their account details by contacting support, subject to outstanding financial or legal record-keeping requirements.
