Sterkfontein is a set of limestone caves of special interest to paleo-anthropologists located in Gauteng province, about 40 km northwest of Johannesburg, South Africa in the Muldersdrift area close to the town of Krugersdorp.
The Wonder Cave, in Kromdraai, Gauteng, South Africa, is the third-largest cave chamber in the country, and is believed to be about 2.2 billion years old.
Krugersdorp Game Reserve is a 1500 Ha Game Reserve, located near the town of Krugersdorp, approximately 40 minutes drive from central Johannesburg.
