My scholarly background is eclectic, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary. I started my career with research on the teaching and learning of languages (education and social sciences),  using mostly rhetorical and discourse studies as methodologies.

Currently,  my data come from popular culture and media, and I try to innovate my scholarship with approaches that can bridge neuroscience and the humanities.
