Illinois Gun Violence Prevention Coalition
Ron was tapped by former Congressman Gabby Giffords’ advocacy organization to help stand up the Illinois Gun Violence Prevention Coalition. The first-of-its-kind statewide coalition was made up voices from across Illinois including gun violence prevention groups, faith leaders and community advocates.

Do Your Job, Inc.
For decades, the state of Illinois has passed a budget every year. Ron served as a spokesman and coordinated communications for Do Your Job, Inc., a 501(c)(4) organization, which urged former Gov. Bruce Rauner and lawmakers to pass a budget amidst a historic 3-year impasse.

Illinois Clean Jobs Coalition
As Campaign Manager for the Illinois Coalition, Ron was responsible for a broad scope of responsibilities including strategic oversight of efforts to raise the profile of the Coalition. Ron also worked with coalition members to coordinate over 60 in-person events statewide to solicit policy suggestions which would lead to the introduction of the “Illinois Clean Jobs Act”.
