Rongyi Yao

Welcome! I am a PhD candidate in Accounting at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. I was a visiting scholar at USC Leventhal School of Accounting from January to May in 2026. 

I am on the 2026-2027 academic job market. 

My research examines how managers strategically use narrative disclosure in response to changes in their information users, and whether these strategies effectively convey information to various stakeholders.

I speak Spanish, English, and Mandarin.
