Dear Visitor,
I am Associate Professor of Economics, Ph.D in economics, member of REGARDs Research Unit at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne (France).
You will find a summary of my publications, my scientific activities and responsibilities, but also my commitment to the popularization of economics in civil society.
RESEARCH TOPICS, CURRENT AND INTERESTS
My work is in the field of ecological economics. I rely on the institutionalist economy of technical change integrating the limits of the biosphere and the transformations occurring in socio-economic development models.
I have the opportunity to be a member of several research projects and to study major issues of sustainability: environmental innovation (i.e circular economy and eco-design) and social innovations. I focus also on the transformations of agriculture and chemical industries (including the emergence of vegetal and green chemistry)
Today my work focuses on the topic of the bioeconomy both at a theoretical and empirical level. I develop also my work methods through the analysis of complex systems (e.g. multi-level approach, innovation, social interactions, community) and an evolutionary approach.
Finally, I believe that the complexity of the bioeconomy and sustainability issues can only be understood by encouraging collaborations across scientific disciplines. This is why I work closely with colleagues in the life sciences and engineering sciences.
