To reset network settings on an iPhone, you can do the following:
Open Settings
Tap General
Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone
Tap Reset
Tap Reset Network Settings
Enter your passcode if prompted
Tap Reset Network Settings to confirm
Resetting network settings will:
Remove all network settings, including saved Wi-Fi networks, passwords, VPN profiles, and custom firewall rules
Reset the device name to "iPhone"
Change manually trusted certificates to untrusted
Turn off cellular data roaming
Turn Wi-Fi off and then back on
To reset your network settings on a Samsung device, you can do the following:
Open Settings
Tap General management
Tap Reset
Tap Reset network settings
Review the information and tap Reset settings
Tap Reset to confirm
Resetting your network settings will remove all saved Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth pairings. You'll need to reconnect to your Wi-Fi network and Bluetooth accessories after the reset.Â
