ART RELATED EXPERIENCE

Portfolio Preparation Courses I 2019 - 2022 Various Locations

Facilitated preparatory sessions for second level students wishing to build up portfolios for submission as part of their application for third level art education.

This involved talking students through the briefs, breaking down the different components of the requirements and marking process

Kept students engaged by urging them to combine their personal interests with their creative processes to create meaningful work for inclusion in their portfolios

Studio Intersections: Collaboration I Jan - Oct 2022 LSAD Clare Street

Studio Intersections is funded by the Strategic Alignment of Teaching and Learning Enhancement SATLE 2020. It involves facilitated engagement across disciplines each of which employs concept specific methodologies for individual time sensitive projects

I took part in two projects the first entitled Fluxus which encompassed methodologies from the Fluxus art movement. The second project entitled Chance was led by the idea of probability and odds when considering order and dis-order by allowing chance to dominate the work.

Damn Fine Print Poster Zine Publication I Jan - Mar 2021 LSAD Clare Street

In Collaboration with Damn Fine Print Dublin, Myself and artist Eabha Cleary published a Poster Zine entitled IMPACT using Risograph Technology.

As this project ran over the course of a period of lockdown, Eabha and I were working collaboratively over a distance through Microsoft teams and shared design documents. This constraint allowed for our devolvement in hybrid working and communication skills. The Zine produced dealt with themes of trauma and its impact on one's past, present, and future.
