During the current lock down period from March end 2020 to the present the following activities were carried on via ZOOM NETWORK:
1) Physical Education classes for students of 5B,5H,6B,6H,7B,7H,8B,8H,9C & 10C FROM Monday to Saturday for 2 hours a day.
2) For TGES GYM members regular classes for 1 hour a day from Monday to Saturday.
3) Regular inputs on nutrition, exercise, exercise science, posture, exercise and lifestyle diseases on TGES GYM WHATS APP GROUP consisting of 300 members.
4) To update my skills with the courses related to my profession.
To impart fitness and gym training to individuals as in personal training and groups of students and sports team and teachers.
THE SNK SPORTS COMPLEX is a multistoried complex that is equipped with a swimming pool, an indoor cricket pitch,3 squash courts, an air-conditioned aerobic studio with sound equipment’s which can be converted to a Judo/karate room, chess room, coaches lounge on 2 floors, an air-conditioned 10 mtrs Rifle and Pistol shooting range, basketball, 3 badminton courts, volleyball court, an air-conditioned fitness center with all the latest strength and cardio machines with free weights, indoor jogging track, roof top soccer pitch which can be converted into tennis courts for kids and adults.
I stand in for coaches for the following sports: volleyball, badminton, squash, basketball and tennis and hence over a period of time the proficiency in these sports has increased.
The most notable achievement since I joined in 2017 has been opening of the fitness center to sports team and thereby with strength training we see an increase in performance and decrease in the injury rate. The Women’s’ Weightlifting and Powerlifting Team has struck Gold Medal Consecutively for the last 3 years in Khel Mahakumbh and State Championships.

During the 2 months of training, we learnt about delivering seminars on health and fitness, indoor cycling, Body Sculpt boot camp, yoga, Pilates, result based training.
I was posted on board 2 ships of Holland and America Cruise lines, mainly the M.S.WESTERDAM which was on Florida to Caribbean route for 4 months and we did the repositioning cruise to Pacific and were based at the home port of Seattle(WASHINGTON STATE.)
I got transferred to another Holland and America cruise ship- M.S.ZAANDAM which operated from Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA to Alaska (USA)
RAJKOT GYMKHANA CLUB Jan’2012- Oct.2013
It was in October 1894, in a cool winter evening that a select gathering of colonial distinguished gentleman and few select Royals from Saurashtra region founded the RAJKOT GYMKHANA CLUB which was once also known as the EUROPEAN GYMKHANA CLUB, wrapped in timeless splendor of its colonial history. Its primarily a sporting club; early membership of the club was reserved for the Garrison members, British executives and some of the blue blooded members of the Royal families. Sports and Games all started, when a tent was put up in the open grounds, where cycle polo was played, the club moved on………..

It was unveiled in 1925 by Honorable CC WATSON, agent for Governor General of Kathiawar and many cricketing legends like W.G.Grace of England, Jam Ranjitsinh and Jam Duleepsinh of Jamnagar in whose memory RANJI TROPHY and DULEEP TROPHY are being played across this country, have played on this ground.

RUNNING AND CYCLING
MEMBER OF RAJKOT RUNNERS GROUP.
Its an amalgamation of likeminded people dedicated to promote the cause of Running; which got together after the Historic Rajkot Marathon of 2015. The group meets once a month to run and encourage likeminded individuals.
Over the course of the year since inception 1 year back at the time of RAJKOT MARATHON in 2015, our members have run 50 half marathons from Kashmir to Hyderabad. Since I am the one of the people who are really very active in promoting running and health and fitness among members: I have run the most at 9 half marathons. We have about 20 doctors in the group and the Deputy Municipal Commissioner of Rajkot city is also an active member of the group.. We ask our members to do a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire(PAR-Q) and ACSM HEALTH AND FITNESS QUESTIONNAIRE.. We have also conducted CPR for our members.
We meet once a month at different locations in the city for a 10 kms. Run.
We have a 6 day training schedule for Runners wherein on Friday I take Easy yoga, power yoga, Pilates, boot camp, bodyweight training, stretches and strength training, speed, agility, reaction training

Main Goal is to encourage cycling for health and tell people to use the cycle for work at once a week.
Every morning the members get together for long or scenic rides across various scenic points on the outskirts of the city.
We maintain close contacts with Rajkot Municipal Corporation to encourage people to take up cycling in order to protect the environment and make Rajkot more cycle friendly. The efforts have borne fruit as the RMC proposes to make cycle tracks for cyclists along major pathways in the cities and outskirts in highways. The RMC has also made it mandatory that every Friday would be cycle to work.

PROJECT WORK- RAJKOT MARATHON DECEMBER 29, 2019
The earlier edition of the Rajkot Marathon was organized by the RAJKOT MUNICIPAL CORPORATION and since they are not doing it this year the marathon this time is organized by Rotary Midtown and since there are friends in the organization and I am game for any challenge I was entrusted with the task of contacting schools to let the students participate in the marathon. My own School SNK we have fixed the target as 500 students, teachers and administration staff who will be participating in various events as 5k, 10k, and 21k. A total of 2400 people from SNK school participated in the Rajkot Marathon. This is part of Prime Minister of India FIT INDIA CAMPAIGN. There is also going to be Cyclothon on December 15 and Marathon on December 29, 2019 and efforts are being made to register the students for the event.
