This module is dedicated to graphics and includes two sections: 2D drafting and 3D modelling of solid objects. This course is aimed at making the student understand the concepts of projection systems, learn how to create projections of solid objects using first and third angle orthographic projection as well as isometric and auxiliary projection, concept of sectioning, to interpret the meaning and intent of toleranced dimensions and to create/edit drawings using drafting software. In addition, this course shall give an insight on the basic 3D modelling concepts like extrude, revolve, sweep, construction of complex solids.
