Welcome to my website!

I am a  PhD candidate at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and will be on the 2023-24  Job Market.

My research interest lies in Macroeconomics and Finance, especially focusing on Emerging Market Economies. I use high frequency granular micro data in empirical models to estimate causal inference. My job market paper quantifies the effects of a climate shock on firm liquidity and evaluates the mechanisms through which they smooth over this financing gap. (JMP)

I have previously worked as a Research Analyst and Short-Term Expert for Ethiopia in Fiscal Affairs Department, and of  The International Monetary Fund (IMF). And as a PhD Intern in the Monetary and Capital Markets Department at the IMF. I have also worked as a Technical Advisor  at The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) Mexico, and been a Research Associate at The Indian School of Business (ISB).
