Google Venkat Panchapakesan Memorial Scholarship 2017

• Awarded the Google Venkat Panchapakesan Memorial Scholarship in 2017.
• One of 6 recipients to be selected from all over India.
• Visiting the YouTube headquarters in San Bruno, California, USA in October 2017.

XII Performance

Academic

• Ranked first in the state with a score of 97.2%. State subject topper in Computer Science.
• Ranked first in the state engineering entrance exam (GCET) with a perfect score (75/75) in mathematics, an unbroken record in the state. The mathematics paper is set by IIT Bombay.

Competitive Examinations

• Ranked 2012 in JEE Advanced (IIT-JEE) from amongst 1.5 million students across India. JEE Advanced is regarded by many as one of the most difficult exams in the world.
• Scored perfect 800/800 scores in each SAT Subject tests of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
• Ranked 1665 in JEE Main from amongst 1.5 million students across India.

X Performance

• Scored 94.6% in ICSE examinations.

Extracurricular Activities

Sports

• Part of the school swimming team in 2014 - won second place in the Inter-Zonal finals.
• Player in the school Throwball Team while in seventh grade, which went on to become state champion in the same year.
• Part of the school cricket team from eighth to tenth grade.

Miscellaneous

• Member of student edition of the international Toastmasters programme from the eighth grade.
  • Given the Best Speaker Award at their Charter Night.
  • Went on to win various debate, elocution and public speaking competitions at the state level after that. Awarded as the best speaker in each event.
• Won the bronze medal in District Level Philatelic Exhibition in First Day Cover and Special cover category in 2014.
