About me

I am a Whyburn Research Associate and Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Virginia. During the 2025–2026 academic year, I was a Robert Riley Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Binghamton University. Prior to that, I was an Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Connecticut (UConn) from 2022 to 2025. My research interest lies at the intersection of Probability Theory, Functional Analysis, and Geometry with particular emphasis on the spectral theory of non-self-adjoint Markov semigroups and functional inequalities. At UConn, my mentor was Masha Gordina. I completed my Ph.D. in 2022 from the Department of Operations Research and Information Engineering at Cornell University. My advisor was Pierre Patie.
