I am a Robert Riley Visiting Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Binghamton University. Previously, I was an Assistant Research Professor in the Mathematics Department at the University of Connecticut (UConn). My research interest lies at the intersection of Probability Theory, Functional Analysis, and Geometry with particular emphasis on the spectral theory of non-self-adjoint Markov semigroups and functional inequalities. At UConn, my mentor was Masha Gordina. I completed my Ph.D. in 2022 from the Department of Operations Research and Information Engineering at Cornell University. My advisor was Pierre Patie. I did my Masters and Bachelors in Statistics from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. Here is the link to my CV, GoogleScholar.
