Selected Student Feedback (complete student feedback will be made available upon request)

  • He is very approachable and friendly. He always explains concepts with clarity even if one person does not get it and finds different ways to explain if we are not getting it the first time. He had to explain a fair bit of statistics to me in particular as I was the only one in class to have the introductory statistics module along with this module while the others had already completed that module but he never made me feel like I was lagging behind in class.

  • I like how Rohan made it open for the class to ask questions at anytime, which made the class engaging, because he made it easy for me to ask questions when I was struggling with a concept. He always checked if he was teaching at a good pace, whether he was going too fast or too slow, which helped a lot because he could then alter the pace accordingly.

  • I really appreciate that Rohan always tries his best when it comes to using technology and honestly he is amazing at his explanation because I literally understood so many basic statistical concepts with his few hours of teaching as compared to having an entire semester to understand it. I also think perhaps during classes he could speak a bit slower because his words tend to require a little more processing time to grasp a concept fully.

  • Instructor is passionate and patient when teaching. He would not mind to repeat countless times if requested by students on a particular topic. Rohan is very encouraging and he always tries his best to answer every question even during breaks.

  • Knowing that this course is new to many, he slows down his pace and never forces to finish the topic at the expense of students' understanding. He makes sure that everyone is clear with the topic before moving on to the next.

  • Goes through many papers which are very interesting. Uses the whiteboard to breakdown the math. Also, can tell that he cares a lot about his students and loves teaching.
