About me
I am a third-year PhD student at King's College London under the supervision of Dr. Samuel G. G. Johnston. I completed a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree at the University of Cambridge. My pronouns are he/him.
Interests
My current research interests include integrable probability, exactly solvable models in statistical mechanics, random matrix theory, representation theory, statistical physics and stochastic processes. I enjoy the interplay of probability with combinatorics and algebra and have found myself using tools such as Kasteleyn theory and the representation theory of the symmetric group to tackle research problems in probability.
Outside of maths, I enjoy playing the drums, bouldering, collecting rare mathematical brainteasers (see 'Maths Puzzles') and chess (I'm always happy to be challenged!).
Reading Group
I have co-organised the KCL Probability Reading Group since Feb 2025, where we have so far studied the Gaussian Free Field and the Liouville Measure. We hope next to cover a rigorous study of the renormalisation group.
