Teaching Philosophy

I believe that every child has the right to learn in an environment in which they feel safe and know they are loved. I believe that the teacher should be firm but loving and understanding. I feel that respect is earned, not only for the student but for the teacher as well. I realize that learning has not always been enjoyable for many students. I want to make learning exciting and interesting through various methods of teaching, to include hands on and art projects. I believe that every child can be a great learner. It is the style in which they are taught that builds the child's confidence and creates the learner.
