Roger Vicquéry

I am a Research Economist in the International Directorate of the Bank of England and a member of the Centre for Macroeconomics.

My main research interests are at the intersection of international economics and economic history, with a particular focus on empirical topics around exchange rate regimes, the international monetary system and international trade in a long run perspective. 

I completed my PhD at the London School of Economics. Prior to joining the Bank, I was a Research Economist at the Banque de France, a Visiting Researcher at the University of California at Berkeley and held several roles as an economist in the financial sector.
