Andrey joined the Department of Physics and Astronomy in 2006. Prior to that, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign working in the group of Prof. Alexey Bezryadin. He obtained his PhD in 2000 at Nagoya University, where he worked in the group of Prof. Uichiro Mizutani. His undergraduate degree is from Novosibirsk State University.
